Filmmaker Bhaurao Karhade’s film ‘Khwada’ bagged two national awards. One went to him for Best Director and other for Best Sound.
‘Khwada’ means obstacle. The film revolves around the story of a shepherd family, who had to leave their village and migrate to another place and their struggle is portrayed in this film. Director Bhausaheb Karhade a farmer by profession has put up a lot of hard work in this film. When he failed to find a producer for his film, he had to sell his village land to fund his project. After the film was completed, many people appreciated the director for his hard work.
